The bunker was a hive of activity during the daytime with sims learning skills from alchemy to painting...to potion creation which boosted their logic up. And they would need every bit of that reasoning capability to determine if a situation was hazardous in this new dystopian world of theirs. If they didn't they would be quickly dead and that wasn't a good life-state to be in. They much preferred the capacity to be able to breathe in air and breathe out carbon dioxide, thank you very much.
Hildegard gravitated to Lord Vladimir's Magic Cauldron which surprisingly, she was able to use. It was a new realization that plumbots were unable to be drained of energy by conjuring at the magic cauldron whereas if any of the humans conjured, they would pass out by about the fourth conjuring attempt. This meant that if they needed a serious boost to their gemstone or any other item that they needed, they just had to get either Horace or Hildegard to go conjure up something that could potentially be useful.
Haruo discussed matters of importance to the welfare of the bunker with Phil knowing that needed to seriously work at getting their skills up. So far the plumbots hadn't run into anything that they couldn't handle, but Haruo suspected that situation wouldn't stay stable for very long. If a hostile nation had nuked Sunset Valley, it was evident that there were other forces at play here and they would have to look at either getting to the point where they were able to handily defend their bunker from invading forces or become radiation-resistant and flee the area. It was hard to decide which would be the better avenue at this point, but they knew that right now, everything was provided here and that moving themselves at this point would put them at the mercy of the elements and the radiation level.
Phil had always had a weak stomach for stress and as such, that sort of discussion unnerved him greatly to the point where he had to destress and ended up in the bathroom making a reaquaintance with the breakfast that he'd had that morning, which happened to be french toast. Yeah, it doesn't look good coming back up either.
Noel on the other hand was having a bit of romance with Holly. After all, she and he were both similar in temperament and they hit it off grandly.
Up above, the radiation storm raged unabated. Yet there were those who wandered the ruins undeterred, no matter how much radiation was in the atmosphere. Either the sims had developed resistance to ionizing radiation or they were not yet managing to have been incapacitated by the radiation levels. Needless to say, the radiation storm was throwing off lightning as well and they could be subject to getting hit by flashes.
Mickey worked on his skills as an inventor and a by-product of this skill was the ability to be able to detonate objects, which made him a good EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Tech, which basically meant that he could either disarm or arm things that went BOOM. But at least he was making things. Then he could work on alchemy and potion creation when he was able to.
All of this activity kept the bunker occupants quite busy and kept their minds off things that would cause them to doubt their ability to persevere under the circumstances that they found themselves in.
